Blue Cube Corporate Travel Management

Corporate Social Responsibility

INTRODUCTION

What is Corporate Social Responsibility?

The European Commission puts forward a definition of CSR as “the responsibility of enterprises for their impacts on society”. Respect for applicable legislation, and for collective agreements between social partners, is a prerequisite for meeting that responsibility. To fully meet their corporate social responsibility, enterprises should have in place a process to integrate social, environmental, ethical, human rights and consumer concerns into their business operations and core strategy in close collaboration with their stakeholders, with the aim of maximising the creation of shared value for their owners/shareholders and for their other stakeholders and society at large; identifying, preventing and mitigating their possible adverse impacts.

Blue Cube Travels Corporate Social Responsibility

Since our founding in 2003, Blue Cube Travel has embodied the true spirit of corporate social responsibility, and we are committed to the highest standards of corporate citizenship.  Our culture and values are rooted in service, integrity, and taking personal responsibility for our actions, outcomes, and reputation.  As a UK leading Travel Management Company, we connect people and Businesses with numerous corporate travel solutions and make a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

Blue Cubes existence is not lonely. It’s part of a bigger system of people, values, other organisations and nature.  The social responsibility of a business is to give back to the world just as it gives to us.

Blue Cube Travel’s social responsibility falls under two categories: Compliance and Pro-activeness.

Compliance refers to Blue Cubes commitment to legality and willingness to observe community Values’, Pro-activeness refers to every initiative to promote human rights, help communities and protect our natural environment.
