New Lounge at Stansted
Emirates has just opened a new lounge at London Stansted Airport, offering premium passengers the ultimate pre-flight experience with world-class hospitality.
Located in Satellite 1 near the departure gates, this spacious lounge accommodates up to 125 guests, including First and Business Class travellers and Emirates Skywards members. Visitors can enjoy elegant seating areas, a variety of food and beverages, complimentary Wi-Fi, shower facilities, and a “farm-to-table” menu in partnership with Sussex’s Full Circles Farms, featuring seasonal British dishes.
Open daily from 11:00-15:00 and 17:00-21:00, the lounge provides a quick 2-3 minute walk to the boarding gates.
Fleet Expansion
Emirates is also elevating its passenger experience with the introduction of 310 new aircraft, including the Airbus A350s and Boeing 777s, set for delivery over the next year.
These advanced aircraft are designed with an emphasis on fuel efficiency, passenger comfort, and state-of-the-art safety features. The Airbus A350 boasts an exceptionally quiet cabin and advanced air circulation systems, enhancing passenger comfort for long-haul flights. Meanwhile, the Boeing 777 offers increased range and spacious seating layouts, promising a smooth and relaxing journey.
Emirates' commitment to a modern, eco-friendly fleet ensures that travellers can look forward to an elevated, comfortable, and environmentally conscious flying experience.
Enhanced Seating in Premium Economy
Last, but not least, Emirates is expanding its Premium Economy offering, aiming to serve 42 destinations by February 2025. This cabin class features luxurious cream leather seats with generous recline, adjustable headrests, and cushioned leg rests for enhanced comfort.
Passengers can enjoy an elevated dining experience with regionally inspired menus served on Royal Doulton China tableware, complemented by a selection of beverages, including Chandon sparkling wine.
The upgraded inflight entertainment system offers a 13.3-inch HD TV with thousands of options, and the latest A380 aircraft provide higher-speed Wi-Fi. This expansion reflects Emirates' commitment to providing a superior travel experience across its network.
