We understand the booking systems and can navigate around them, even with the addition of our online booking tool bc online, our consultants run a manual checks prior to ticketing. This means that in approximately 20% of online bookings we are able to offer an additional saving.
After the launch of bc online we had the realisation that despite our tool being easy to navigate and use, it still required that the booker has a reasonable knowledge of travel, ticketing, destinations and policies. We quickly understood that although EAs, PAs and other travel bookers have experience of booking travel online, perhaps what they lack is the knowledge regarding the mine field that is the ticket rules, destinational knowledge and company travel policies. Booking their own holiday is a world away from corporate travel.
The average person takes 2 days (solidly) in booking a holiday – more likely over an average of 2 weeks. There is no time for this at work and worse still, if you’re booking for your boss and you get it wrong, not only are you costing your company money, but you’re at a high risk of a call from a very unhappy person at a hotel or airport which you can’t do much about if its 3am in the morning.
We realised that despite having an excellent adoption to bc online, “An average of 85% of our online clients process their transactions via the tool” client spends we’re increasing. We also noticed that despite all the correct approval processes in place, last-minute bookings were on the rise.
In order to tailor the course to your company requirements we will require a minimum 2 week booking window and access to your travel data. An NDA is put in place between us as well as a contract defining our services.
